Game Check-Out Procedure.
Agreement between student and parent must be signed. You can pick an agreement up in Room 26.
After the agreement is turned in, a game check out card will be made with your name on it. This card will be delivered to your teacher. Your teacher will hold onto the card until you have decided to check out a game.
Bring the card to room 26 (2nd and 3rd afternoon recess and 4th and 5th morning recess) only 3 at a time from each class.
Checking out games
As you walk in the door the games are displayed. Please enter quietly. Always make sure there is an adult in the room. Pick a game, look at the number on the front of your game, put your card in that number slot, put your game in a bag (provided in a box) and you may take your game back to your classroom.
REMEMBER, this game is for home not for school. Please don’t share it with your friends in your classroom or on the bus.
Returning your game
When you are done with your game count all the pieces and make sure you return it put together nicely. If there is a piece missing or damaged write a note and put it on the inside of the game so when your game is checked we can fix the problem.
Bring your game to breakfast or the gym in the morning. Give it to Mrs. Baxter in the cafeteria or Mrs. Tillett in the gym You do not need to take it back to your classroom.
When your game has been checked and everything is ok, your card will be returned to your teacher and you are ready to check out another game.
Do not come to room 26 without the permission of an adult.
When you receive your card the date will be highlighted with yellow or pink. Yellow means everything is great. If you see a pink mark then you know that something is wrong and the game did not come back in the way you checked it out. If you receive 3 pink marks then your privilege of checking out games will be taken away.
Enjoy your games and encourage your whole family to play. Games should be returned within a week of check out.
