I WOULD LIKE TO INTRODUCE MYSELF
This is my fourth year as your Winchester Family Liaison.
I am married to a wonderful guy and have two grown children.
David is 32 years old and will graduate from George Washington University in Washington DC in May 2012. He recently returned from Africa, working for American Bank and writing about Child combatants. He is engaged to a our neighbor and my daughters best friend Lori. They are to be married in June.
Our daughter Jessica is married to Matthew. I have a beautiful Grandson as of March. We could not be happier. She is 30 years old and teaches 4th grade in Grants Pass Oregon. Her husband Matthew teaches Kinder in Grants Pass. It is nice to have them close to home. Both our children attended the Roseburg School District, where I was their number one advocate.
I also have two kitties, Sushi and BarbieQ
I have been a faithful volunteer in all areas of education. I know what it takes to be a volunteer in the schools and also realize that our lives are so busy and full. To find time to help is a dilemma in all of our lives.
Please join us again this year as we continue our “Three for Me” promise. This program is designed to encourage parents to pledge at least 3 volunteer hours throughout the school year. Ask me about the "Three for Me" promise.
We also are very excited about our Family game area and book exchange program, located in THE TOWER OF LEARNING room 30. Visit us after school or a special time can be arranged.
If you would like to volunteer and just don’t know who to ask, please contact me and I will find the best fit for you.
I look forward to meeting you.
